Godin is one of the largest producers of stoves in France. Established in 1840, they produce over 150,000 units per year. They have a long and established history, starting with the Petit Godin which is known the world over.
Since the famous Petit Godin, still present in the Godin range, all products owe their quality to the absolute mastery of the company that brings you the reassurance of solid and careful manufacturing. All products are designed and tested and enjoy all the most effective techniques.
It was in 1840 that Jean Baptiste André Godin had the idea of replacing an enameled cast iron stove with the traditional sheet metal stove. "History will record our successes" confidently predicted the brilliant inventor in 1880. He was right since Godin became a generic name. If, in popular imagery, the brand is synonymous with warmth and quality, it is because this visionary industry captain has given his company and his successors a permanent taste for innovation and performance. .
From the famous Petit Godin, still current, to the entire heating and cooking range, all products owe their quality to the absolute mastery of cast iron which gives you the guarantee of a solid and careful manufacturing. All products are studied and tested specifically in our establishments in Guise (02) and all of them benefit from the most efficient techniques in all versions and all energies.
The work of the cast iron constitutes our main activity with 2 foundries integrated into the group. Through its longevity, cast iron maintains its reputation for heating.
Refractory and solid, easily removable, it allows high-performance and high-quality thermal engines. The cast iron appliances store and restore heat perfectly and regularly.
Cast iron can have complex and original shapes intended either for use in a combustion chamber or as a decorative, painted or enameled exterior covering. We also use it for the production of a full range of cooking pans: our "Cocottes" collection
